PHMSA offers opportunities for all players ages 3 and up:
Playground & Schoolyard – for our littlest players! AYSO’s Playground/Schoolyard is a child development program. The objective of this program is to help develop a child’s Fundamental Motor Skills (FMS) in collaboration with parents and guardians, using soccer as a common thread. Season starts in September.

6U – 19U Fall Core – PHMSA’s Fall Core Program is a recreational soccer league open to players of all skill levels. Kids learn teamwork, sportsmanship, and soccer fundamentals in a fun, family-friendly environment. The season consists of practices, Saturday matches, and for players 10U and up our PHMSA Tournament! Season starts in August.

AGE
GROUP UPDATE
Starting in the 2026-27 season, AYSO will determine age groups using a seasonal year (August 1 – July 31) instead of a calendar year (read the announcement). This change aligns with other youth soccer organizations and helps players stay with classmates and friends.

As a result of this transition, some players may remain in the same age group they were in last season for a third year, while others may move up to the next age group after only one season.
